Weight Watchers Smart Kitchen Review

Preparing WW Smart Kitchen food boxWeight Watchers are now offering a brand new service to assist its subscribers with a new weight loss and weight management service WW Smart Kitchen. The service offers a fresh food delivery service where you can prepare and cook food in your home. The food comes complete with pre written recipe cards to take you through the food preparation step by step. Other fresh food service providers include Gousto and Hellofresh but they lack the long established and trusted name of Weight Watchers.

Starting with the website is quite straightforward, as you can click straight on the ‘start now’ link on the homepage. This will drop the page to reveal 2 choices of a standard box or meat free box. You’ve guessed that the meat free box is aimed at the veggie customers but could also be a popular alternative for meat eaters. Moving on you get the choice of 2 or 4 people and then a choice 3 or 5 meal portions depending on how far in advance you want to go. There’s no advantage I can see with cost saving as delivery is free in all cases so you might as well get the freshest ingredients possible. This choice might simply go down to convenience and the advantage of fewer deliveries.

Once the choice is completed you will be presented with the price per meal, delivery cost which is normally free and the total box price. You can take a sneak peek into the current weeks’ box which is handy to find out exactly what you’re getting. Clicking the ‘place order’ button takes customers to the log in or sign in page. I was expecting some sort of basket page where a voucher code can be entered but this must come later in the checkout stage.

For questions there is a contact link at the bottom of the page which takes users to an online form. For a more personal touch there’s a chat feature where you can chat to a customer service rep in real time. The FAQ section can be found on the top menu which might be handy to answer any questions you may have.
