Bedstar.co.uk Review

View inside a bedstar store

Bed Star focuses on offering different users their perfect experience on their home page. The downside is this can look a little messy and turn some people away. Right at the top, the slider draws attention to offers, brands, and proof that the customer is put first with the mattress quiz. After that, there is a big wall of text. White space and headings could have been used more effectively to break up the text and make it easier to read. It’s just difficult to know where to focus and where the important points are—and there’s no point expecting users to read the full thing, right?

After that, blocks of images help to pull the attention towards the types of products on offer. This part is the best bit of the homepage. People looking for certain types of furniture can just quickly look, click and browse. To make it even easier for people to use, the search box, menu bar and contact number are at the very top of the page. The colour choices draw the attention to the number being a free phone option and it’s very easy to find other ways to get in touch.

Despite the wall of text on the homepage, this is one website that is to the point, flashy, and user friendly.
